Kamchatka is a peninsula in the northeastern part of Russia. Its territory is practically undeveloped and full of geysers and volcanoes. Sometimes locals call Kamchatka an island, because it is possible to get to the capital of the region Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky only by plane, there is no road overland. There are many sights on the peninsula, but we were inspired by the Koryak hill or the Koryak volcano. With a height of 3456 meters, the Koryak volcano is included in the list of the 16 most dangerous volcanoes on the planet.<\/p>\n
There is also a famous Key Hill in Kamchatka. Its height is 4835 meters, and its age is more than 7000 years! And the Koryaks are the local people of the northern part of the Kamchatka Peninsula. The ancestors of the tribe existed 15,000 years ago and migrated from eastern Siberia. Some of them went to the American continent, and some settled on the peninsula, so the mythology and culture are somewhat similar to the North American Indians.<\/p>\n
